Course Summary

As the world changes and individuals are exposed to a wide variety of groups, expectations on managers increase. Not only is there an expectation that a manager will have knowledge in functional areas such as accounting, strategic marketing and the like, but also that they have managerial attributes, such as emotional and social intelligence. This online Short Course will explore emotional and social intelligence as well as the use of non-verbal communication in assisting managers to improve communication and gain positive results in their business pursuits.

Students who successfully complete the set of seven Short Courses* developed from the unit BUSN20024 Communication for Leadership Success, (which forms part of the Master of Business Administration (Leadership) CL39, may be eligible for credit transfer, pending all other entry requirements to the Master of Business Administration (Leadership) CL39 are being met, as automatic entry will not apply.
