Course Summary

Computer formatting skills are essential in higher education. This online Short Course will explore the key computing skills required for higher education and explain the basic spreadsheet operation techniques required to create and format a workbook using Microsoft Excel.

Students who successfully complete the set of 5 Short Courses* developed from the unit COIT40206 Computing Skills for University, (which forms part of the Skills for Tertiary Education Preparatory Studies (STEPS) CL03), may be eligible for credit transfer, pending all other entry requirements to the Skills for Tertiary Education Preparatory Studies (STEPS) CL03 are being met, as automatic entry will not apply.
