In the world of Project Management, projects are first and foremost seen as investments of time and resources in order to achieve a specific goal. This goal may be financial, social, environmental, or a combination of any of these. As with all investments, stakeholders require some degree of certainty about the outcome.

This online micro-credential addresses this need by providing a basic understanding of the fundamentals of project management. Attributes of a successful Project Manager are discussed, as well as best practice in the tailoring of a delivery method for success, are covered at a foundational level. A broad overview of common constraints associated with starting, progressing and finishing a project is included.

This is a non-creditable micro-credential which is awarded a digital badge and Certificate of Completion which can be shared on social networks and displayed in your professional portfolio. A digital badge is an indicator of accomplishment or skill that can be displayed, accessed, and verified online
