Academic writing skills are essential for students. This online micro-credential will introduce you to the skills of paraphrasing, summarising, quoting and referencing. You will be introduced to academic integrity and learn practical strategies for acknowledging the ideas of others in your writing and avoiding plagiarism.

Students who successfully complete the set of 6 micro-credentials* developed from the unit LNGE40049 Essay Writing for University, (which forms part of the Skills for Tertiary Education Preparatory Studies (STEPS) CL03), may be eligible for credit transfer, pending all other entry requirements to the Skills for Tertiary Education Preparatory Studies (STEPS) CL03 are being met, as automatic entry will not apply.
