Organisations need to attract, select, motivate and develop people who ultimately engage in the core business of an organisation. Similarly they need to move on unproductive workers with a degree of integrity that respects the rights of individuals and relevant legal requirements. This is the function of managing human resources.
The Graduate Diploma of Human Resource Management (HRM) enables you to gain knowledge and skills in the field of human resources. You will develop skills and expertise in human resource management, industrial relations and management functions both in Australian and global contexts. The course is designed for professionals currently working in human resource management or related fields and who wish to gain professional qualifications in HRM. The course also caters for early career professionals from other disciplines who would like to develop HRM skills.
The Graduate Diploma provides a pathway into the Master of Business Management (HRM).
Human resource professionals work in almost all large organisations. Employment opportunities include specialist positions in employee recruitment and selection, training and development, strategic planning and performance management in middle or top management positions in industry, commerce or government.
