The Graduate Certificate in Hospital and Health Management will provide contemporary knowledge and skills to enable healthcare managers to excel in Australia’s complex and dynamic health care environment. This course examines International and National healthcare, contemporary reform agendas and governance in health care organisations while allowing you to apply this understanding to your own workplace. You will learn to identify and minimise risk, determine access and equity issues and examine organisational culture to effect positive organisational performance.
Successful graduates would be eligible for employment in managerial positions in hospitals (public, private and not-for-profit), the health services sector and community settings.
