Source: Have Your Say
Feedback
More case studies could be incorporated into the teaching.
Recommendation
The teaching team will aim to incorporate more case studies into the content of the course.
Action Taken
The teaching team included significantly more case studies into the classes of PSIO12001.
Source: Have Your Say and by email.
Feedback
The students really enjoyed the change which was made to the Hurdle Assessment. This changed from a video submission to a face-to-face feedback session, where students received immediate feedback on a question of their choice. Several students thought the number of face-to-face sessions could be increased from one to two within the term.
Recommendation
The new format of hurdles will remain for 2018 and the teaching team will endeavor to schedule in more Hurdle sessions where possible.
Action Taken
While it was recommended that the hurdle remain unchanged in 2018, there was a lack of assessment for the electrophysical components of the unit. This required the teaching team to insert an additional hurdle task, as an assessment prior to practice.

Feedback
Students felt there was inconsistency in relation to clinical techniques taught between campuses.
Recommendation
There is often some inconsistency between clinicians in clinical practice due to their personal biomechanics, knowledge and clinical experience. The teaching staff will continue to regularly communicate to improve consistency in relation to the clinical techniques taught between campuses.
Action Taken
The teaching team communicated regularly to ensure techniques were taught as consistently as possible.
