Course Summary

This online micro-credential is developed for Higher Education staff involved in unit and course development and provides guidance in the embedding of First Nations cultural content and perspectives across CQUniversity courses in line with the First Nations Curriculum Framework (2025). Within this micro-credential, you will develop the knowledge and skills to successfully embed First Nations cultural content and perspectives both vertically across degree courses, and horizontally across units, and gain an understanding of the minimum recommended volume of First Nations curriculum as per CQUniversity’s First Nations Curriculum Framework (2025).  Teachers in Vocational Education and Training programs may also find modules of this micro-credential beneficial.

This micro-credential is aligned with CQUniversity's Stretch Reconciliation Action Plan (2025-2028), Action 10: Continue to integrate Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander knowledges and cultural content and perspectives into the University curriculum, and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.

Upon completion of this micro-credential, you will be awarded a digital badge and certificate of completion, which can be shared to social networks and displayed in your professional portfolio. What is a Digital Badge?
