Course Summary

This online micro-credential has been designed to complement the work delivered by the Queensland Curriculum and Assessment Authority (QCAA) to focus on developing teacher confidence, capability and expertise in the key concepts and topics covered in the Psychology syllabus. It offers subject-specific knowledge and skills needed to underpin effective and contemporary approaches to teaching and learning in the subject. The scientific method underpins much neuro-scientific research. This course introduces the utility of the scientific method as well as ethical approaches that need to underpin such research that involves either human or animal participants. Participants will work with cognitive verbs to create protocols for undertaking psychology research and develop ideas for teaching basic psychological concepts.

This online micro-credential provides a non-creditable micro-credential and digital badge which can be shared to your social networks and displayed in your professional portfolio.
