This micro-credential will explore the use of the Segmentation, Targeting and Positioning (STP) Model. Participants will learn how to strategically apply the three step model in the small business context.
This is a non-creditable micro-credential. Participants who successfully complete this course will receive a digital badge and Certificate of Completion which can be shared via social networks and displayed in a professional portfolio.
This course is only available to eligible participants as part of the Department of Employment, Small Business and Training Stream 1 Micro-Credentialing Pilots Project.

Undertaking this micro-credential enables students to meet their Continuing Professional Development obligations and industry update requirements in their profession. Upon successful completion of the course, students will be awarded Continuing Professional Development (CPD) hours and a Certificate of Completion.
CCIQ Participants: The Entrepreneurship for Small Business Suite is designed to give CCIQ members who are small business owners or decision-makers support and increased confidence in a fluid environment. For some participants this content will be the refresher they need to help them adapt their business, for others this content will be new knowledge to help them optimise their business operations. Content is designed for practical application, allowing participants to immediately visualise how they will apply their new knowledge directly to their business.
CQU Students and Alumni: These participants may not be business owners yet, but intend to be in the future. This suite of micro-credentials provides a strong foundation for these participants, allowing them to continue the planning process and work toward their business aspirations with increased confidence.
