The Diploma of Information Technology program is designed as a transition program for students seeking an entry pathway into the Bachelor of Information Technology program.
In addition to having value in its own right as a stand-alone qualification, the program provides an entry pathway into CQUniversity's degree programs, and courses completed in these programs can be transferred into the University's Bachelor of Information Technology program.
A career in Information Technology (IT) is fast-paced, challenging and dynamic. IT specialists are sought after in nearly every business or organisation and in a range of employment fields from finance, medicine, arts, education, the military, manufacturing to high-tech business. Job opportunities exist as Developer Programmer, Database Administrator, ICT Support Technician, ICT Customer Support Officer.
